Working Area & Community Participation

Currently. ROA is working in all 4 Districts of Rlivuma Region Approaches
which ROA is using in its working area are:-

  • NJultisectoral-multilevel approach.
  • Public community meetings.
  • Sensitization seminars.
  • Advocacy and lobbying for effective policies 011 HIV/AIDS and Orphans
    posters.
  • Brochures.
  • Integration of prevention, care and sllpport of orphans and PLHAs
  • Community based participatory meetings (community directed involvement
    and participation).
  • Training peer Educators Community based intervention that are responsive to district and community needs.
  • Media. ROA uses electronic and print media to send or pass messages to
    the community.

Participatory Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PPME)

PPME helps ROA to effectively and efficiently achieve the planned activities
identify and under stand strengths and weakness for improvements as we value
on welfare of the disadvantaged children. youth and Orphans commitment and
collective responsibility of staff members as well as challenges and feedback
respectively. It also ensures proper utilization of the reSOL/rces, as we believe
that resources are scarce.

Partnership & Participation

  • Orphans must be enabled to exercise their right to express their view freely according to their evolving capacity and build self esteem, acquire
    knowledge and skills such as chose of conflict resolution, decision making
    and communication to meet challenge of life
  • Local governments and authorities, through, inter alia, strengthened
    partnership at all levels can ensure children/ Orphans are at the centre of
    agendas for developments.
  • NGO's and CBO's as civil society actors, we have a special role to play it,
    promoting and supporting positive behaviors and creating an environment
    that is conducive to the well being of children, Orphans, children and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA's).
